So, is it very different riding a hardtail? Not just how the bumps feel, but how the bike handles, how much it shortens an average riding distance by (if it does at all), etc. I know some people ride them cross-country, but can the average person handle it or is it just too rough? I've never been on one...only full suspension bikes. I love the way it looks!

Another evening's work & I'll will have the frame completely stripped. Next I will need to order a rear clip/weld-on hardtail.
I'm leaning towards Led Sled's weld-on, but Hammer in Hand makes one that looks good too.
Anybody know of anymore shops out there that make a weld-on hardtail that I should consider?

if you ship us your frame, we will weld on our hardtail for you for 2hrs shop labor time. ($130.00). we'll also grind and file it all down so it will look like a one piece rigid frame while retaining your existing v.i.n. so youre not paying insurance on a 2012 custom build. gimme a call. 989-227-2453. brent
