Hey Joker....Did you paint your engine yourself? I just purchased my first bike and can pick it up Tuesday. If possible, I want to paint the primary cover and the belt cover AS WELL as the engine if I can right when I get it back home. What do you suggest and would you mind letting me in on your procedure? Bike looks AMAZING and wish I had to money to jump straight on the Nightster! For now the 883 will do the trick

All done by myself. It's easy to do but the prep work is very time consuming and you won't want to cut corners. It will be worth it in the end. You have to tape off everything you don't want painted really well. The only parts I removed from the bike was the heat shields on the pipes and the relocated coil. Here is one side ready for paint.

Bike looks great brother, what type of front and rear turn signals are you running?

Stock housings with chrome bulbs up front and LEDs in rear. Using the HD front visor trim with smoked lenses on both front and rear.
