Looking to put some hard bags on my bike.. Dont really like the look of the rounded ones.. Just trying to get some info on where to find some more squared ones like a street glide..
Hi and welcome to HDF. Harley used to make small hard bags similar in shape to the touring bikes. I don't think they are made any more, but they may be available secondhand if you are patient!
Harley did, in the late 60s/70s. They are on eBay all the time with titles like "Vintage bagger", "Ironhead/Panhead" bags etc... I just saw a set go for 300 plus shipping and mounting hardware the other day that were semi decent looking.
I picked up a set that needed work for 100 bucks and am refinishing them myself. A good cheap alternative to high dollar bags.
I just needed the bags, I have all the mounting hardware if you want to go that route (you would be custom fab'ing something to make them fit). I have them on this forum for sale, if nobody wants them I will probably end up giving them away or something. Anyway, there are lots of options, hit eBay.
Hello the the forum. First, can you tell me what model Sportster you have? Also, if you really mean like the street glide, check out Cycle Visions who are a sponsor on this website. They have some great touring hard bags for the Sportster. I have a pair for mine! I know I know you want pictures but you will just have to wait.
Here is a pre-wired, hard bags, for much less than any place I've seen. Everything you need is included. I think they look good if you are going the hard bag route.
