RE: Are you doing ? nothing to your bike/purchase ?
My 06 1200c is Stock.! except for that seat! and also those small grips, 6500 miles and it runs good, but would like some slip-ons just for a little more rumble. I just like thelines of the design!

The only things I worry about resale value are the things that just sit there an look preaty but are never used for anything worthwhile.I consider amotorcycle a consumable item just as I would a 12 pack of beer. Granted if and when I get rid of the current scoot it will be hopfully for a trade in if not the junk yard. I don't understand people that buy lets say a truck and say i'm not hauling anything with it because I don't want to scratch the bed. When I buy something it is well used and i'll add whaterver whenever to suit my needs at the time. I like getting my money's worth by using whatever I buy. But thats just my opinion and if your views differ that's ok because it is your hard earned cash.

I am with you monzie. I never trade anything in at a dealer that is not worn completely out. I really pay too much attention to the mechanical side, but worrying over every speck of dirt or ding in the paint just ain't my bag. I guess i have more of an engineers mindset, not an artists.
