new pipes back in

aand loading map ready to start up

and after heat cycles complete ready for my first ride on it.

i just put the first 500 miles in a week ( i drove up and down lol ) ! i rode everywhere! and when it hit 600 miles i took it straight to the dyno.
the results?
89.9 @ 5900 hp and 86.1 @ 4600 tq (pics will be up later)
while the hp number seemed kinda low, i wasnt expecting big hp out of this cams but i must say im happy with the torque number!
on the street the bike is awesome!! it pulls hard! night and day difference from the 883! it doesnt have the wheelly poppin' sportbike acceleration but it surely is faster than any other harley i've ever been on!
for those of you on the fence of doing a 1200 conversion to your 883 do it! and if you are a bit mechanically inclined and have some tools laying around its definately doable by yourself. no need to get ripped off by a mechanic or the stealership on labor.
all the work was done by me with the help of my sister and my dad.

That just seems like way too much build up on the piston tops for that year bike. 11,000 miles also dosent equal that kind of exposure. Intersting.

I see you were doing the work in a storage unit. I was limited to a storage unit and an apartment carport for a long time..winters were no fun. Can't wait to get a garage soon!
i'll post up the dyno sheet later on tonight.
