Went to start up the bike for the first time in a while so I could go on the first ride of the year and discovered a fuel shooting out the quick disconnect on the tank.
So I went to the dealership and doing a little investigation. Turns out I had a bad O-ring and of course harley can't just give/sell a O-ring, their only option is to buy a new $55 valve assembly. at first I was ready to fork over the cash but there wasn't one in the state to order.
Long story short. I tried a few different places and ended up finding them at O'Reilly's auto parts in Silverdale, WA. a baggie of six cost me $2.50.
