Limited paint?
ok so here are a few pics of my wifes 2009 sportster xl1200c. I bought it for her with only 845 miles in mint condition. I have only been able to find 2 sportsters with this "limited run" paint scheme. it's a heavy metallic purple and silver. The other one i was able to find was purple and blue. can anyone verify for a FACT that it is a limited paint? thanks in advance.

That's the logo Harley uses on some of their Custom Color selections each year. They have limited availability but aren't numbered. One of this year's Custom Colors is the two-tone Tequila Sunrise and HD Orange. They do two or three different color combos each year.

My 2001 1200c has "limited paint" too!!!

(Don't worry, nothing serious... Just failing bodywork. Bought it this way, got a decent price for it too! Luckily, I'm a body guy.

I called Harley the other day to see how many bikes that they painted in the Tequila Sunrise for 2012 and she said they would not have the total numbers until the end of the year, I figured they would be done building and painting the 2012's by now and working on the 2013's?
