I put on some rush slip ons as well as the stage 1 air cleaner for my 2011 superlow...i am very happy and she seems to be running real well for about 50 miles or so now. My question is do i need a tune or a plug and play tune or am i good to go considering its running great and its fuel injected ?
There are a ton of threads discussing opinions on best tuning options, but I'd go with a tune since you did the S1 air cleaner. You may think its running fine, but I bet it's running too lean, especially at highway speeds. H-D's run fairly lean stock, let alone with the changes you made. If you do a search, you will find thousands of discussions on the best tuning options. I personally like the Power Commader 5 which can be bought preconfigured from Fuel Moto, but there are many other great options as well. Take care of your engine and it will take care of you.
