XL 1200c Shock replacements
Can I install these on the wife's 2012 Sportster - which I believe are 11.5 in Shocks?? I assume the height difference will not even be noticed?
How do these air shocks perform as compared with the stock shocks? Or would I be better off getting a set of Progressive's?
As to the ride, huge improvement... depending on how much your wife weighs, you might just be able to run them plugged (0 psi) and not worry about using an air pump. I hear a lot of smaller guys doing that, I am 200lbs and run them with about 5 psi, a little air goes a long way on these. I also ride with them 2 up and add/remove air as needed, something you might want to look at if you wife ever rides with full luggage or something.
If it were me, I'd try it, all you need to install them are some 3/16" spacers, or 8 total washers. You can reuse your stock hardware. No way it's going to be worse than stock.
I think they look better than the stockers too:
and they do look good on your 1200c

Everything about the RK shocks would apply, I believe the only difference is the length, with the RKs being 13".
