Im trying to take the part (shown on the picture) that covers the belt.
If i take the screws out i still cant pull it out of its place becouse of the exost pipes. I have Vince & H instaled on my bike.
I took the screws out to the total far left at the end of the exoust that hold the pipes to the bike but im still not able to pull them toward me so i can take the part out.
Anything im doing wrong? Please advice how to do this properly since the pipes wont move much for some reason.
Looks like you need to remove the rear exhaust pipe. That's what I have to do on mine to get enough clearance and to get to the bottom screw in the cover.
Not a big deal. I had my exhaust off last weekend, to replace the Allen your looking at. I stripped the head about a hear ago when I put the pipes on. Didn't notice until the last time I cleaned the bike. I put tape on when I had it off.
Maybe its all in my head, but the tape seems to make it run smother, probably just the sound.
well i did try to do that ... i unscrew the bolts that hold the rear end of the pipe but the exoust wont move at all. Is there anything else that holds it?
Do i need to pull the exoust toward me or?
Sorry not 2 technical but would like to find out how i can do this .. not working so far.

Peering through the gloom over the Atlantic I can see what looks like a support bracket under your passenger footrest. It probably supports both pipes.
yes thats on the far end of the pipe. So i removed the bolts and tried pulling the pipe toward me but was only able to get it move for half inch. I dont see any other place were the pipe is tighten to the bike frame... Any idea ? Thanks
