Yea, I'm on my second E3 on the rear (160/80-16) and the first one went 13,500 miles, but I pulled it a bit early do to an upcoming trip.

IMO, the E3 is a great tire, real good handling and excellent mileage.

They were the stock HD tires which I changed out at a little over 5k. Perreli and the SE were the only ones that make a 17" rear 180 tire. The Perreli being the cheaper of the two.

I have 402 in the front and 401 in the rear. i have 16000 miles. i went for my inspection and they said the front was borderline. some cracks forming tread wad o.k. i have the 21" front rim and a lot of people think that is high mileage for that tire.

It is. I never got more than 7500-8000 miles out of the skinny 21" wheel/tire, but a lot depends on where you live (climate and type of asphalt) and how you ride.
