they will perform like race tires but they may have a little less life than a harder tire, I had a ninja with pirellies, they gripped awesome but I stored the bike outside in the winter and the cold cracked the sidewalls i guess because they are softer rubber.
I've heard that the Night Dragon's are good handling tires and many people seem to like them.
But I keep waiting to hear from someone whose actually worn out a set on a Sporty and can give a decent mileage life comparison between them and the other popular tires, or even compared to the stock Dunflops.
Avon Venom's handle great, but I get half the mileage from them vs what I get from the Metz 880's or Dunlop E3's.
If you can fit a EIII or Commander II on the sporty i would try that....hell if i can get 11000 out of an EIII imagine how long it will last on a Sporty...
