Default HD Signal relocation kit, how did you do it?

what i mean is, im preparing to swap out my handlebars so im moving my front turn signals to the forks. I got the kit from HD and it makes sense even though the instructions are awful. My one question is do we have to jack the front tire off the ground before we take that bolt out of the triple tree in order to install the HD bracket that mounts the front turn signal to the triple tree? Im thinking yes, but want to make sure im understanding this right. If so, how do you do that without a jack of somesort?

Take a look at my $5 turn signal relocation DIY thread, click here.
I do not like the one bolted on the fork so I went my own. Trust me, it is easy to do it yourself.

No, you do not have to lift the front end. Just do one side at a time. ........... BC

BC is right, no need to lift the Bike. I made mine from an old broken Lower Steering bracket. I didn't like the way the HD one stuck the lights waaaay of the forks.
