OK I didn't go thru the whole thread so don't know if this has already been stated. Based on what style you showed you're thinking about my suggestion is, "Get a seat with a gel insert!" No matter your age, size, time in the saddle. Your butt & back will thank you. So whatever you buy spend the $ for a gel insert

I haven't really checked out to many seats, there are a lot manufactures out there, I got a killer deal from another member on the Brawler solo seat from HD and for the riding I do it is comfortable usually 150 to 200 mile runs, I recently added a 2up seat the Rallyrunner also from HD took my lady out for a putt 100 mile turnaround and she said it was comfortable.
Now if I were going to go much further I think I would check out a thicker seat but for now the seats I own work for me and keep the look of the bike where I want it.
