acceleration on '06 883C
when twisting the throttle with steady roll of the wrist the bike will accelerate and then at one point, around 50% of the throttle, it will take off.
is this normal. shouldn't it be pretty consistantly accelerating thru the twist of the wrist.

Powerband. My guess is you're suddenly feeling the increase in horsepower as the revs increase. My bike kinda gets the similar feeling when I hit it. It's powerful, but slow to go, then when it hits the powerband it really pulls.

Well not knowing some more details I would say its just the powerband kicking in. I've got an 04 883c and there is definitely more power higher in the rpm's. Wouldn't hurt or be hard to check the plugs though.
