I'm looking at getting a second bike within a year so that my Wife and I can go out riding together. We currently have an '09 Nightster with a stage 1 heavy breather mod, fwd controls and other goodies. We like the bike and are satisfied with it.
For the next bike, I don't necessarily want another Harley, although I'm not excluding it.
Some of the choices I'm contemplating are the V-Rod Night Rod, Softail Slim or perhaps a Victory Judge, maybe even another nightster.
The Judge looks like a very nice bike, with a bigger engine, modern looks but still very raw looking. I'm just wondering how it would compare to what I'm riding now and how it compares with the other bikes on my list.
I can't...I just can't. I've tried to make myself like the Victorys. Simply because I'm hoping to see another American motorcycle company do well. I'm not brand loyal in the least bit. Sadly I just can't get over just how ugly they are.
You may want to watch this video first, and ofcourse take one for a test ride. I've heard alot more than once theres alot of vibs in the handlebars above 50mph.
LOL! I actually think that the Judge looks great, especially with that fat front tire and round headlight.
You can get a fat front tire and two round head lights on a Fat Bob for about $500 more. Be much better for riding two up too. Just make sure you test ride one first. Me thinks you will change your mind once you get it over 50mph.
Looks are of course subjective, but I checked out a Judge and thought it looked pretty killer in person. Much better in person than in any pics I've seen. I would like to test ride one and see how it rides. That orange and black theme looks pretty wicked imo.
