I stopped riding to work a long time ago, because it was bad for my career.
Every time I rode to work, I didn't want to pull into the parking lot, I'd just keep riding well into the afternoon. You can only get away with that **** so many times.

Ride. Drizzle or misting, fogging when leaving, I go. Pouring, the wife drives me on dayshift, or the other 2 shifts I take the car. If it is raining when I leave, I just get wet. I've ridden thru some hellacious rain and wind though. I do keep a change of clothes and boots at work too.

I ride every day I can. If it's under 30% and not raining when I leave. Coming home it's ok to get wet, I just adjust my speed to the weather. It rains here in NW Florida any time it wants. Crap just comes off the water and wam it's raining.

As long as it is not downpour at the time I leave for work, and the weather just shows a low percent chance or light rain when I am leaving I will ride. Dont mind if the bike sits out in the rain while I am there. I love riding to work. its how I get in my 50 miles per day.

So far, I've ridden to the shop all but once because it was raining when I went to leave, and lucky I took the truck, cause it down poured all afternoon. The only 2 other days that it's rained when I rode in, I checked the forecast and waited it out(which equals more hrs $$).
I work at a used car lot, so if it's storming when I go home, I'll just take a car from work if my truck isn't still parked in the way there. I'd rather not ride in the rain yet, still a novice.

I've had my sporty since Apr 23 and have ridden it to work every day except two; once when a coworker needed me to pick him up at when he dropped his car off at a garage and once when the commissary was having a tent sale...just can't seem to fit $300 worth of bulk groceries in my saddlebags LOL.

I carry my rain gear everywhere, so if it starts to rain I just pull over and put it on. Like others have said, I just go a bit slower and turn very carefully. And with tropical storm/depression Debby sitting off the coast I've had the opportunity to wear the gear multiple times. 25 and 30 MPH Wind gusts hitting me from the side going over the causeway has been worse than the rain, IMO.

Funny thing is, a guy I work with who's been riding for quite a few years chides me for riding in the weather...and he rides a tricked out EG. Hell, I bought mine to ride it and save gas, which I'm doing quite nicely

Ride to work almost every day.. Gulf Coast Texas the weather is so crazy that I don't usually believe the damn weather man, though if it shows 70%+ chance of rain or if it's actually raining when I'm leaving I usually take the car. I need to get a rain suit just in case...

I ride anytime it's 30% chance or less.
But I only have to ride to work one more time. I'm retiring on Friday
