I ride everyday to work unless it's pouring out when I leave....but being in southern California rain days are few and far between.

Congrats on the upcoming retirement Howler!

I ride everyday to work up to and including light drizzle. What really stops me and puts me in the car is if I'm tired!

I'm a daily rider in Las Vegas regardless of weather, granted we get so little rain around here that I never check the weather forecast, besides those forecasts are so wrong all the time, I'm more accurate by just looking out the window

Anyway, I got rid of my Hummer a few months ago after sitting in my driveway for the previous 3 or 4 months with use maybe 3x and just an estimated waste of about a grand wasted every month with payment, fuel, insurance, registration, repairs, etc. I'd rather spend that on my Harley. That said it is the best decision I ever made, ride daily to from work, customers, grocery store, every where regardless of day, time, weather, etc. been riding for over 30 years and other than at the very beginning have always had a vehicle to fall back on when I didn't feel like riding, now I realize that was a foolish excuse. Got a Harley, they are meant to be ridden always and often. Now I realize those years I missed riding that I can't get back.

Call it mid-life crisis but I'm catching up, 30+ years of riding and I feel like I just started

I ride to work daily unless it rains, not very often here but when it does the roads are very Slippery. My commute is mostly small residential roads in the Hollywood hills, got caught in the rain once, kept the speed under 30, bike still got loose several times, very scary! JF

I ride to work everyday. Used to avoid rainy days, but got caught in the rain a few months ago and to my amazement, I didn't melt. I won't ride if there is snow or if it is rainy and below 40, but since I live in Mississippi, that isn't too often.

I ride to work as much as I can, but I try to avoid rain/weather conditions. We just had a huge wall of dust go through Phoenix, no thanks.

It doesn't rain a lot here in AZ, but the forecasters cant predict **** either. During our monsoon season, they forecast chance of rain everyday of the week, and usually the day that they don't it will rain.

That is a good idea. I was tired yesterday, but took my bike on my 85 mile commute, that I do 3 times a month. I didn't have a sharp focus, and didn't see ahead as well as I usually do. I took a turn too fast for the first time in 35k miles and actually rode the grassy shoulder for about 35 feet, but I rode it out. Next time I am tired I am taking the car.

I try and ride everyday unless I have to haul something that won't fit on the bike or when it is icy/snowy in the winter.
