Use a set of Harley SE gaskets, they are flat and work perfect with torque cones.

Hi there,

Thank you for the reply! And sorry if I didn't respond earlier.

Is it me or I do not see where you put the gaskets? All I have is the flange and the o-ring that keeps the flange in place.

Please help!

Vincent

It seems that your thread is about baffles/lollipops, not torque cones.

I know this sounds stupid, but did you take out the original gaskets in the head ports??

I'm afraid I did not. Is it ok NOT to have a gasket if using torque cones?

what do the flanges look like on the pipes??? are they coned or are they just straight with a wider piece about 1/8 inch long on the last part of the pipe...if they are the second (they probably are the 2nd) you should use screamin eagle type gaskets....and yes you need to use gaskets... and you may need 2 sets of gaskets...one in the head port and the other between the cone and header, on each head...they are fairly cheap, maybe $20 for all 4...

The flanges are just straight. I just ordered the Screaming Eagle gaskets and will have to ride without gaskets for a few days :-( I damaged the stock gaskets when removing them.

I would not ride it with out gaskets...you can burn the valves pretty quick, unless of course it is not leaking by some chance...
