I just got a new set of drag pipes (long story), and I bought torque cones. The installation was easy except that I couldn't put both nuts on the front headpipe's flange. The added thickness of the torque cones wouldn't allow me to do so.
I'm concerned that having only one bolt in the front could become a problem down the road. And the other nuts wouldn't go in fully either.
sounds like a lot of trouble down the road . that's a lot of stress on one stud , plus you will develop a major exhaust leak pretty quick . are you sure the cones are seated properly ?
put some baffles Or at least a lolly pop in those pipes for some back pressure.

I played with the torque cones for a while to make sure they were seating properly. Maybe I need to go back to it..,
