Had to replace the front brake light switch on my wife's 08 883L this weekend. Went to the dealer to get the part. Holy Bat crap $56.00. I then went and looked on Ebay and found one for $16.00. Lucky for me the seller was only 65 miles away and it was a nice day to ride. I bought two of them so I have a spare in the tool box. Same switch for her Sportster and my Fatboy LO.

i removed the brake handle and put 3m adhesive strip cut to shape to fill the gap, problem was solved. i left the sticker on the side that would touch the actual little button. guess any switch would work, seems generic.
