Ok so i have a 87 hugger thats is having a starting problem when hot the solenoid will just make a single click if i let it sit for a few hrs it will be fine and start right up . Has anyone had this problem or know what to look for?

 

How old is the battery? Have you had it tested?

 

Battery is brand new and i threw the charger on it but it was fully charged. The bike only has the problem when it's hot.
