I think the OP's bike looks sweet with that wheel on the back! wether it rolls down the road or tips over is nobodies problem but his. Certainly doesn't look like the millions of stock 48's out there.

Mike - enjoy modifying your machine - I hope you learn enough through the process to understand why many of us are counseling against some of the changes you're asking about. If the idea of some cool aesthetic is more important to you than functionality - have at it. When you're ready to move on to something else (y'all have seen the ads) I'll caution you that many of your changes will be considered "mistakes to be undone" by most potential buyers.

Otherwise - make sure you've got your insurance paid, 'cause you're building a wreck waiting to happen.

Where in georgia was that video taken? I live down by Savannah and would like to find a nice weekend ride up to some good twistys. Deals gap is just a bit to far for a quick trip.

And fornth OP I dig ur bike man. Not sure if I would go through all the trouble to do a carb conversion but to each his own. I have the S&S kit on my 87 and its a solid carb setup easy to play with but since I went to stage 2 heads i havent got it tuned just right may have to rejet b4 im totaly happy with it.

professionals wreck all the time because they get over confident. who said i was not a professional? and i just said dragon tail because it was the first thing that popped into my head. my point was being i dont ever do stuff like that on my bike so the chances of you wrecking are greater than mine if you ride like that all the time.
