I like the riser and I picked the "big tire" for looks and feel. I do agree about the seat. It is good to keep momma happy. Momma would also like new shocks for comfort, you don't have to mention the improved handling.

I don't mind the factory C risers. It's a clean and smooth flowing set-up. Handlebar options are a little limited, but I don't mind the factory bars. They look better powder coated black.
Having said that, after five years with the stock arrangement, I've got mini-apes, stubby risers and a speedometer housing getting powdered right now.

Just FYI, the Roland Sands speedo relocation kit will NOT bolt up to the 2011.5-up 1200C as the mounting points for the headlight eyebrow are 3/8" wider than the narrow front end C's (4 3/8" on the mid glide front end vs. 4" on the narrow glide front end). That is why I had to elongate the mounting holes on the upper triple cover.
