Tail light relocation

Im looking to relocate my tail light turn signals. I have saddle bags, so the stock position is out of consideration, and I don't like the "stock" relocation that is mounted to the brake light/license plate assembly.

So I'm looking for any suggestions or good ideas of what I can do. I thought about mounting them to the rear wheel well but am a bit concerned if the wind pressure on the lights possibly damaging the fender. You guys got any great ideas? Pics would be a plus if possible. I already did an image search on google and looked through hundreds of pics and I have yet to see any special modifications of that type.
