My sis has ridden on both her husbands Mustang pillion and my Sundowner and said the Sundowner is way more comfortable for her then the Mustang passenger seat. I used to get some tailbone pain after about 100 miles but since installing the HD frame mount highway pegs i rode 200 miles today with no discomfort at all. I have both mids and highway pegs now so the best of both worlds.

Other then up and downshifting i'm always on the highway pegs. Unless your per say a road racer the advantages of mids over forwards is at best negligible. I rode my favorite twist monster today and used my highway pegs through most of the corners and stability was not a factor. Only thing i did notice was how much more comfortable the Sundowner seat was with a legs forward riding position.

I got it wrong earlier in the post. It is the Badlander that I will be trying out for a few weeks.

If you are possibly interested in a swap of my Badlander (Excellent Cond.) for your Sundowner, let me know.

I run the OEM seat with the passenger add on seat for 2 up, and a Mustang Vintage Wide Solo Touring when riding alone.
I like the OEM pan shape, but it lacks padding, I can usually run 350 miles before it feels uncomfortable.
The Mustang is great, flat, and rides a couple inches higher. But I rode it 3000+ miles over 2 36 hour riding sessions, with minor discomfort from the stitching in one spot at around 900-1000 miles of straight riding.
