Default DK Customs

Hey Guys,

I looked for a vendor/sponser review section and didn't see one. Good chance I'm just blind.

I wanted to say that the customer service at DKCustoms is incredible. It's hard to find companies today that stand behind their products and really stretch to help a customer.

I've purchased the flowing at different times so far:
Air Cleaner
Vied
TTI - thunder torque inserts.

I had one of the nuts of the torque insert come off and lost the insert while on the road. I emailed them and they said it rarely happens and the lock nut might have failed. Sent me out a replacement no questions asked same day.
Which is really amazing.

I would recommend them in an instant. Kevin and Dawn are awesome.

Sorry again if this is in the wrong place. Disclaimer: I'm not paid or asked to leave this review, other than the free replacement part, i've received nothing.

Many safe rides brothers!

Add me to the list of happy customers! Bought a set of the air filter/cleaner breather bolts for my Sportster. Great product, great price, great shipping!

I have the V&H SS on my bike as well. I can feel a difference with the inserts, I would believe the Dyno claim of 10% Torque 4% HP gain. It's not like blow you out of the water, but you'll feel a little more power. When you add it with stage 1 and your choice of tuner or piggyback/resistor. It's really nice. You have your options on wither you want to keep your baffle and drill a new hole for the TTI, or remove the baffles and bore out the hole slightly for the TTI. I chose to remove the baffles, it is slightly louder, but the TTI provides back pressure and some sound dampening. It's like 25 bucks for these, with the amount of expensive parts we buy for our bikes, it's like a drop in the hat.

The dyno charts are a bit hard to find, but at the bottom of this page it's one of the thumbnail pictures.

To install.
Remove your baffles or not your choice
I did, then I drilled the baffle hole just a little larger.
Slide the TTI into position and tighten bolt.
It can be a little bit of a PITA to tighten the bolt, you can use some vise
grips to grab the TTI to hold in place while you torque down the nut.

Thanks much appreciated I did remove my baffles and that's when I really felt the torque loss I'm going to order the tti right now I've heard lots of great things about them and like you said 25 bucks prolly the cheapest power booster on the market! Thank you!!!
