Has anyone wrapped a set of V&H straight shots? I was going to get the short shots and wrap them up but my Friend whos a Harley Tech said dont get the Short Shots or your bike will run like **** and be loud as hell.
Thanks guys, I love the look of your straights wrapped up! I'm going to remove the chrome shields and wrap them first chance I get. Any issues with yours since you wrapped them? I can't decide between black or white. Any type of wrap to aim for or avoid? Thanks again, I wish I could post pics from my phone!
Ps any issues with that metal bracket/brace that holds the back part of the exhaust on? Did you wrap over it? Thanks.

No issues at all, but supposedly there's a risk of damaging the pipes later down the road.
I like white, but black also looks pretty cool depending on the style of the bike. The DEI wraps are pretty nice.
I wrapped around the exhaust mount. I guess a lot of people take their pipes off to do it, but I just left mine on.
Thanks for everyone's info, I plan on leaving mine on too. I'll prob just wrap over the brace too. I think I'm going to black, my tank is a burgundy redish color, I think the black will look cool.
Spray it with about 3-4 super high temp paint and they will look great and last even longer. The black wrap from DEI is kind of grey in color. I just did my drag pipes on my 72 shovelhead with drag pipes. Looks legit!
