Haven't been paying attention to my fuel economy as I have been happy with the distances I have been getting per tank. However, I went out on a little putt this weekend and thought I would check to see where I was at with the fuel useage. I was quite pleasantly surprised. I was running 75 - 80 miles per hour pretty consistently - occasionally hitting 90 to 100 during extended passing on the 2 lane roads...

I have an app for fuel economy on my iPhone. Every time you fill up you tell it how many gallons and your odometer reading. I consistently get around 38-40 total average. I have gotten 40+ on times I have ran a lot of highway miles. Of course I only have a 2 gallon tank, so this is done a gallon at a time lol.
The main reason for purchasing a bike was for the fuel economy. I can go about 3 weeks going to and from work and just around town before i have to fuel up, even when I do fill up I dont think I have put more than 11 bucks in. Certainly better than filling up my truck every 3 weeks with 80 bucks.
