How do i move my tank back?

Get a different seat. Are the seats still different for the Custom and the Standard models? On the 07-09 the Iron and Nightster came with the shorter seat made for the Custom with the larger tank. That is what gave it the gap between the tank and seat. I think the Low model had the longer seat that butted right up to the 3.1 gal.tank. I am not sure if the newer bikes have a difference in seat sizes.

I think the 883 does have a bit off a longer tank/seat (than the 48). I'm going to get a much smaller solo seat from Sick Saddles and find a 48 tank. What year tanks can share the same bolt patten?

yeah i have the iron and the stock seat fits right against the tank.
but i have the 48 seat on it now and there is a gap between the seat and the tank
