Buying first motorcycle, is this a reasonable price?

If your buying here and taking it to Japan, won't that mute the dealer security on a used bike if something goes wrong?

Thanks for everyones help with my decision. Went back to the Harley dealer here on Sunday offered $6,500 on the 2009 1200 Custom he had listed at $7,900. Got it for $6,700. They delivered it today and I'm happy with the purchase. Dealer threw in some stock exhaust pipes and will put them on as part of the deal before I transfer to Japan in June. I will need them to pass the Japanese emission and decibel inspection before I can register it over there. Thanks again to everyone that offered their 2 cents. I will take on board the craigslist idea once I learn more about bikes but for now and me this was the way to go. See y'all around the boards.
