A while back, I got a Dyna 2000 module on ebay and it came with a bunch of other stuff, a voltage regulator, and this object. I gather that there are two Dyna single inition coils attached here, but what is the purpose of this orange thing? I'm thinking about putting it on my 883, possibly with a tank life, but I could use a little heads up on how to go about it. So, can you tell me what this orange thing is?
How about you ask the seller? But my guess is it's just a bracket to mount it under the tank?
It was like a year ago that I bought it. The seller probably doesn't even remember the transaction.
I figured it was a bracket of some sort, but I was surprised to find that the bracket didn't seem to correspond to the bolts under my tank. I had considered that it might be meant to be mounted above the engine where the double fire coils currently reside.
Now I just need to figure how to hook them up. The stock coils have two wires hooked up to it, while these single fire coils have two wires each coil (4 total).
The beer is Warsteiner Oktoberfest btw. Pretty excellent.
