Default what a jackass

Came out to my bike from the gym the other day, and I noticed my front fender was slightly off centered. I look at it closer and yup, the right side has a big ol dent in it. I dont know who did it but the only thing I can think is someone pulled into the parking space not paying attention. Must of been going slow, cause i have no dents or scratches anywhere else. The only other thing i noticed was my rear tire was UP on the curb (I usually just back in until my rear tire touches then put the kick stand down).

Bought the bike brand new in March, some people just **** me off!

Anyways, I have been thinking of removing the front fender for the exposed tire look. How does that bike effect when riding without it?

It sucks that some Asshat hit your brand new bike hard enough to drive it up onto the curb. Maybe you can get a replacement fender and have it painted to match your existing paint job?

Some guy had parked his sport bike on the street across from my office building. After about an hour, some lady/fool tried parallel parking into the spot that the bike occupied, hit it, and knocked it to the ground. Apparently she realized what she had done as soon as it had happened because she hauled *** out of there without leaving a note or anything. The guard standing watch at the entrance to our building tried to get the Asshat's license plate number but couldn't leave his post in order to get it.

I had some guy from Nevada tell me that the fender we designed to produce the right kind of air flow over the engine for cooling. He said that putting anything on the forks (like a bag) would cause the engine to overheat in the hot desert sun.

But if that's not a consideration, the most obvious downside would be riding on wet pavement. Without a fender, you get soaked.

Isnt there security cameras in the lot?
Check with management. It could be some fat slob sweating next to ya on the treadmill, and he was scared to tell the Biker he ****ed up your bike.

What if you have a superbrace on the forks?

Superbraces are good but, but for an entirely difference reason. Nothing will really give you defence from water to the face as the front fender does.

You see those fenders with the small dent on top? Thats from guys who carry their tool bags, (use to carry their tool bags), over the top of the fender when they bottomed out.
I have at times taken the fender off of my Night Train to try a different look for awhile. Never noticed a big difference cept bike got more dirt. I prefer the fender.

well unfortunately its a small gym with no camera. I dont ride my bike in the rain (still learning) but i read somewhere that without a front fender when going freeway speeds it jacks with your steering, is that true?

I never noticed a problem with steering or handling because of a missing front fender.

Well, that totally sucks. I realized a long time ago you need to make your bike visible to idiots in parking lots. I leave my bike out in the lane, so the d**khead who can't manuver their automobile at least might see it.

You're lucky, front fenders are probably cheap for a Sporty.

I would not be surprised if one of the members here might have one on the shelf in their garage. There seems to be a lot of "no fender" dudes around.
