woo hoo..

ok, so all i really did was change out the stock headlight bulb for a Sylvania Silverstar Ultra 60/55w (9003/HB2 SU/2)

And then took about 20 mins realigning the lamp assembly as it was aimed about 20% too high from the dealership, was getting constant flashes from other drivers.

now its aim fairly well, low seems to reach about 75-100 yards, high just lights up the world it seems.

the bulb is a nice bright white.

so, thanks for letting me boast.

the next few weekends are gonna be exciting. new speedo/tach, air filter, exhaust, tuner, seat.... and hopefully a new tank!

i'll post pics when i do the next "real" mod.

How much did the new bulb cost and does it really make that much of a difference at night? I have a fat bob headlight on my older Dyna so I have 2 bulbs but brighter is always better.

Cool

Cool, I've run these on other bikes and they make a hell of a difference. Thanks for listing the part #.

I paid $47 at Walmart for them, but you can get them cheaper online, such as from Amazon (

)

I got them from Walmart knowing that if they where crap, didn't fit, or didn't help that much, I could easily return them without issue, however, I wont be returning them, it was worth the money in my opinion.

And I have a spare bulb.

I'd like to get brighter bulbs but I just put the new fat bob headlight on so the bulbs are really new and I just feel weird about replacing new parts. Idk why I just do lol
