2-Up Sportouring (Lots O Images)
We took the scenic route from Fort Worth to Panama City Beach for the Thunder Beach rally.
I will start by saying I have Progressive 13" shocks and Mustang seat.
With that, the ride couldnt have went any better. We were plenty comforible on the sportster, and it had no trouble pulling us and our bags along.
For reference, I am 210, the wife is 110, and I have 80 lbs of luggage.
Round trip was just a touch shy of 2000 miles. I averaged 43 mpg and according to my phone 84 mph (stops subtracted).
After the trip I honestly have no desire for a larger bike. This worked out perfect for our needs.
Loaded up and ready to go!

State Signs - I missed Florida because we had a bit of trouble. The wife was starving but I made her hold out for a place a guy at work had told me to try which was right on the border. When I got there I realized it was a bar. I was carrying a gun on me and Alabama and Florida will not let you carry into a bar so I couldnt go in. So by the time all that went down I wasnt about to make the wife wait to eat any longer and we drove by the sign to get some food.....

On a side note...... a loaded down sportster does not control well on beach sand...................
Also Louisiana is full of bugs!
