Default N'ster upgrade

After two years of talking, I finally up graded the Saltster. With a hi flow air filter, free flow exhaust and a super dyno tune (SEPST) it had 79.5 hp and 76 tq.

The upgrade: SE Hi Performance Cylinder Heads, Hi Compression Pistons, and Hi Output Cam (.575 lift) give a 11.1:1 compression ratio.

I only have 65 miles on the build and haven't whacked the throttle yet, but seat of the pants is definately noticable.

I'm curious what the hp/tq numbers will be after the "break-in" when I get a final dyno tune.

Update: 200 miles of break-in riding and haven't been above 4800 rpm, probably tomorrow. My butt dyno says that if it had 79 hp before, it is in the low to mid 90s now. Very impressed with how it pulls and have only touched the bottom 1/3 of the power band.

Just wondering. How much all this will cost. What kind of intake, what exhaust?

Von Zipper

The bike is my avitar. The intake is K&N Custom Air Cleaner Assembly (RK 3929). The exhaust is stock with the baffle cut out ( 5 minute job with a hole saw). Been running this setup for the last three years.

Engine upgrade: cam kit, gearcase gasket, H/C pistons, pushrods, gasket kit, and hi perf heads I got for 15% off of list, no tax and free shipping. Dealer wanted 10 hours labor, my engine garu indy did it for $300.

I'm a happy camper

Update: Gonna have to "short shift" around 6000, first to second, to stay off the 7000 rpm rev limiter.
