yes it skips its only after its in 2nd and u been going for a few seconds so its like it engages start giving it nore throttle and then 2 to 3 seconds after you rool on throttle it does it 1 time and some times it does it 3 or 4 in a row but that is rare
belt is tight and not missing any teeth brough it to my dealership they rode it and are stumped... does not suprise me dealerships are full of part changers
i wanna say its clutch but to my knowing if clutch slips it will be every time not once and awhile

get the bike in 3/4 gear , low rpm.
then roll the throttle wide open.
as it accelerates , pull the clutch in and let it out .
the engine should rev, then drop its rev's instantly.
if it runs hi-rpms for a second or two , then your clutch is slipping.
