Smile Jamie at Fuel Moto-THANKS!!!

Ok, this is my dumbass move for the year...I bought the Power Vision with Auto Tune from Jamie, and they loaded their map (which friggin ROCKS) when they shipped it. On Christmas day, at 6 a.m., Im in my garage tearing my bike apart installing everything. Looking for a place to mount the AT module, I checked under the PCM, which there was a small box under there and I paid no mind to it (my stupidity). I get it all set up, im beaming ear to ear, I wanna take a ride. I noticed on the gages I set up (AFR1, AFR2, Tach), that the AFR was super rich constantly, 12.2 to 12.6. I looked at the map, everything was good there, I figured my bike needed to adjust or something as this is my first tuner for the bike. Now for the dum dum part.....Today, Im looking for the extra battery connector on my sporty, under the seat beacause I read somewehre that there was one. I look in my Manual under ECM, thinking it may show the different components and connectors under my seat in that section. I notice that the picture it shows does not look the same under my seat for the ECM connector. So, I go back to the garage...notice that from the ECM, the connector has a pigtail extra on it...lift the ECM from the holder and look at the box underneath it. Whats there??? A Power Commander 3 USB....I bought the bike used, and didn't know that was there!!!! I freaked out thinking, "what did I screw up...oh damn!!!" I called Jamie this morning, told him the scenario, he said no worries, just unplug it and remove it, reset the fuel trims, and your good to go! Holy cow, what a relief!!! No matter that my question stemmed from my own stupidity, Jamie was awesome in helping me out. Thanks Jamie and Fuel Moto for the outstanding service and customer support!!!!!!

That's good to hear. FuelMoto isn't the least expensive Power Vision reseller, but support is great to have.

I bought from them due to reputation, quality of service, and warranty extension. Im sooooo glad I made that choice. They had a package deal though, $779 for the PV and AT , which out did any other retailer I found. Besides, the map they sent alone was worth the extra it may have cost lol

What're you doin' 'RED, piggtailin' tuners like Chrimmus lights or sumpthin'?!

Dude, that is too funny...a PCIII under the ECM, who'd a thunk ???

Such a conundrum! Now the question is...whatcha' gonna' do with the PCIII? Or moreso, what CAN you do with it? It's married to the bike, right? Wait...doesn't FuelMoto have some kind of buyback deal where they'll give you some dough for your old tuner, or is that just $$ towards a new one from them? Looksie into it, 'tis a possible blessing in disguise!

=8^)
