My dealer has a 2012 72 still the bike only has 7 miles i want to buy it... My question is would 9k be a good cash price? I know they are trying to move all of their 12's out but it is a brand new bike,
Thanks
I guess the most important question is, do you think it's a good price? Have you been able to find a better price at another dealership for a similar bike?
If the thought of spending 9K on a bike really bothers you, maybe you should be looking for an older bike or a different venue. Personally, when I go bike hunting, I prefer to look for Garage Queens on Craig's List or eBay. Yes, there's some risk involved, but the savings over the dealership is usually significant.
I would offer them $8500 but not to exceed $9k, the bike is still a year old being that 2013 models are already out, beware if you pick it up at $9k you will more than likely be over 10k after Taxes, Licensing, etc.
Yes, good price as long as they don't add freight, setup and a really high DOC fee. I paid 8815.00 for my new 2012 1200 Custom with no freight or setup plus 99.00 DOC fee.... plus tax.
