Default risers = headlight issues :(

I went from a little tiny 2 inch riser to a nice 10 inch riser the issue is the power wire that goes from the high/low switch on the bars is to short. What do I do? The headlamp is stock and the wire just goes to the side. It seems really thick to be a positive and negative only wire so do they sell extensions for it? Do I need a new head light? What do you do?

If you can't find an extension, I added additional length of wiring to my harness when I relocated my speedo and added pullback risers. Cut it, figure out how much more wiring you need (6 inches, etc etc) stagger your cuts of course, solder the new wiring in, and wrap it all with electrical tape. Nobody will know but you.

OK I just didnt know if it was one main wire or a bunch of them. Hopefully it will be wires with different colors so I can figure out what goes to what.

They should be different colors. Just do one at a time if need be. I eliminated the big bulky connectors that were in my headlight bucket when I switched to a bottom mount headlamp. Just be patient.
