Default Risers

Trying to put 4 1/2" risers on friend's 883. Cables are long enough, but wires are not. Anyone done this without splicing handlebar wiring? Haven't taken the tank off to see if wiring is coiled up under the tank. Hoping it is. This mod was a no-brainer on my Dyna.

Which model & year?

The wires may be in the headlight.

You will likely be short brake line.

^^^^ what he said. The older models had wiring tucked away in the headlight. But I have yet to see a rubbermount with extra wire tucked away. I would guess your options would be to splice and solder, or buy one of the kits with the terminal ends and plug and play if it is an 04 or newer.

+1 there may be some extra if it is an older model.....other wise you will need a soldering iron, wire cutters and the shrink wrap stuff....not hard
