21 48 or a 22 48 are very popular combos. 21/48 is factory gearing on 5 speed solid mounts 22/48 is about in between an 883 and 1200. A 41 tooth would not work on your bike at all.
What is its current stock gearing?! My Sporty is later than yours so I don't know if my 29/68 pulleys are the same as yours.
Will have a count up when I'm next over at my old mans, I'm using his garage to mod the bike so I'm unable to count them, will update once I've popped over
Right so im trying to put this conversion together on the cheap
I found a dished 51t custom chrome sprocket on eBay, after a few questions to seller figure it will fit my mocked up fat wheel (even if it could be the wrong ratio lol) on an impulse I bought it for Ł30.
Once this turns up I can line up the front sprocket and see what offset I need for that and start the hunt for it and the chain, which leads me on the the next part.
Chains! Been looking at the one below, I get the 110 links part, and O ring part but I'm not following the whole 530 part
Any good/info guys?
530 is the chain size old chap! In other words pitch and width. The sprockets and chain have to match, so your new sprocket has to be a 530 for them to work together.
Added later: you'll notice that despite metrication, chains are still jolly good old Imperial sizes!

Reason: Added para.
I'll be done in a moment! Don't buy that chain from the USA, it will cost you a fortune. Get one from a UK source. They are darned heavy, shipping costs are very high and you'll get hit for import duties, VAT, etc.
Hey there,
Im in London about once per month. Let me know if I can grab something for you. Way cheaper over here (I can't believe the cost of stuff at Warrs compared to the US.)

There was a time, when I bought my first Harley in the 70s, when Fred Warr was the only dealer in the UK and one of only three in the whole of Europe. I haven't used them in years because of their charges. It is an act of blind faith over here to own a Harley!
