Hey guys I hope you can help me, yesterday I was riding my 07 1200c and suddenly my right turn signal stopped working:
Every time I try to activate it, the red key light on the speedometer turns on and "blocks" it, doesn't work and the red key light remains turned on. The left turn signal works fine
I figured out that if I activate the flashers, the red key light turns off, but then again I try to activate the right turn signal and it all happens again.
Do you know whats wrong?
Yeah I would try the bulbs first and then if the problem stays it is most likely in the control circuitry for the right turn signal. Might have a lose connection.
Could be the turn signal module is shot. That will cause the red key light to come own reporting it as an error. It's under your battery. Not sure if only one signal would be out with that though. But worth a look if a new bulb doesn't work.
I had a problem with my '07 custom where my right blinker would come on randomly or not at all. What fixed it for me was using bulb grease on the bulbs and all the connections under the tank.
