you could also walk into your local sign / sticker shop and pick any color you want and they will cut you a piece....vinyl is not that expensive and its durable. you could also get hd logos made or whatever you want to put on the wrap after...make it a little more custom.

i used carbon fiber vinyl. It's what a lot of cars get "wrapped" in. It's all over ebay. I have so much left over from installs that i just picked up some black and wrapped it.

I vote for the vinyl wrap. Very cheap and easy to do. Also you have the choice of just about any colour you can imagine. Here is a pic from my build thread:

i just bought black friction tape yesterday for $3 at the hardware store and wrapped mine. not sure how its gonna hold up but so far so good!
