I'm curious what anybody has noticed in "seat of the pants" power difference between the carbed '06 vs the FI '07 model of 883 Sportster??
Have any magazines run any reviews or tests on the '07 883's??
Hi.
The 07 883 is in my opinion the best 883 ever. the FI system totally transforms the bike from a wheezing powerless not very good running bike into a lovely free reving smooth fun to ride bike.
If every carby owning sportster rider had a roadtest on an 07 most of them would trade right away.
Cheers.

This Bullshit post aside, I rode an '07 883 during my Dealers Open house, there is a noticable difference in Throttle response. Not enough for me to "give them mine and me buy theirs" type difference though.

Not true at all, and see my previous post.
I feel very fortunate to have gotten an 06 - and will be keeping it for a very, very long time.
