Guys need your help. I have a 08 1200c
Today I noticed my red key light come on while riding then go out. I stopped at the store, turned the key nothing but one loud click. It did this 3 times before starting. I have a new starter and relay switch in it. It did not sound like the relay. Would the red light indicate the starter, or the stator.

The red key is normally indicating something to do with the security system but oddly enough there have been some posts on here about it comming on when there is a problem with the turn signal lights (pinched wire, bad bulb etc.), I think it's because the signals and security system share the TSSM.
Why did you have to replace the starter & relay on an 08 already?, if it was recent I'd be double checking all electrical connections at the battery, starter & ground points first.
