Just a little rant. I have a few items from RSD and generally I am happy with the items though a little pricey. I recently bought the brass chronus pegs..so happy to get them and to match my grips..
Then I find out that they don't even fit perfectly..the holes don't match up. You'd think it would fit perfectly considering the coin you chuck out for them..
I know I got the right one and I know others that have had this issue.
So just a little notice before you go and buy the pegs..DONT buy them unless you want to grind down a piece of your bike.
Just like everyone else theses days. They come up with a cool design put their name on it then farm out the work to the cheapest Chinese shop they can find to mass produce it.
just an update. I called RSD and apparently these pegs dont fit on the 48 OR the classic. Wtf? The clevis has one longer side for some reason...such garbage

So it's garbage because you didn't check to see if it fit your bike first?
I checked with the seller (denniskirk) and they said it would fit. I guess i should change my post and say Harley is garbage for making the 48 footpegs like this.

It's been my experience with my 48 that there are a few small differences from the other models that unfortunately don't allow some aftermarket parts to fit correctly. I'm hoping manufacturers begin updating their promo info and getting it to resellers to avoid these issues. For now though it seems we're best off just calling up the manufacturer directly and asking, which is a pain in the ***.

I ran into that same problem when I bought some replacement pegs for my 48. The only other bike I know of that has the same clevis is the 72. I just returned them and went on my way.
Who the hell is Roland Sands anyway? And, why do I want to spend big bucks to have his initials on my bike? I guess it's like chicks and Louis Vouitton purses.
