Well as most know I just bought my first MC after never even have ever sat on one before. I got a course coming up but decided to just try and go in a straight line in my driveway. I tried and fell over 3 times.
I am not sure I will get the hang of this if I can't even go straight never mind having to make a turn. Should this have been a easy thing to do for a first time rider?

My first time on I poped the clutch and hit a fence, I think your in a larger club than you realise. My friend wanted a go and drove it through a hedge, so don't give up!!
I'm sure most would have recommended the MSF course for a 1st time rider, I would sign up and leave your bike parked until you complete the course IMO.

You ever ride a bicycle? Same concept.
But, even when I was learning to ride a bicycle, I didn't fall 3 times.
Are you tipping on release of the clutch?
Are you getting any forward motion?
Creeping along at very slow speed going to be tough.
Don't give up - you'll get it......
Yikes not to discourage you more but that's rough man. Get into the course for sure. First time I tried I just started slow and got faster and faster knock on wood never fell. Good luck stay safe
Reminds me of a guy way back when I was in the Army a guy that worked in the motor pool, bought a Harley for his 1st bike ever,it also had a extended front end well while he was going to take off on his 1st ride he over revved and popped the clutch the bike flipped up and landed on him and broke his leg in a couple diff places,he sold his damaged bike and recouperated ,told him to take a safety course to
