My custom 06 1200 custom came with a sissy bar, pad and a small rack for luggage.. stuff...
See Attached Photo, I do not like mine, WHICH IS NOT PICTURED, because it mounts in between the fender and the frame.. not detachable per say, but it has to be installed, mounted and it stay there until I get wrenches and such and take it off.
Does anyone know of the same sort of sissy bar with a rack possible just like mine that I can just quickly detach?
If you know of one, and a link.. please, share!
Thanks.
Should be able to buy a detachable sissy bar from HD and a rack from HD, then just attach the rack to the sissy bar and detachable bracket. Which, is just like the one in the picture you attached to your post.

The one you have pictured is a detachable one, same as what I have. It is an H-D item, it's not cheap but you can find one used if you're patient. It's a good quality item and comes off in about 10 seconds. You'll need the detach lugs also, that mount to the fender rails.
Parts you'll need with approx. moco prices - docking kit-$40; side plates-$120; sissybar-$90; rack-$100 can maybe use your old pad
Can probably find a used setup on fleabay for less bucks. The fixed mount sissybar/rack won't fit as the ones for the detachable are a bit wider. If I remember correctly, the Sporty detachable bars/racks also fit the Dynas.

2004 and up Sportster sissybar uprights and rear racks will fit a 150 rear tire Softail (2003-2005 for Fx, 2003 and up FL, except '07 up Fatboy has a 200 rear). The detachable sideplates are not interchangable.
The classifieds section, here on HDForums, has detachable stuff come up all the time. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/harle...lassifieds-73/
Thanks to everyone.. I did some checking around, looks like it is going to be another one of those HUNDREDS purchase again.. this sucks.
My riders like the sissy bar for support, but I do not like the look.. I like it without it.
So, I guess I need to hunt up some hundred dollar bills...Imagine that!
