I bought the solo rack 4 years ago and looked around for a sissy bar that could be used with it. I didn't find any at the time so I had a local shop fab the sissy bar and weld it to the rack. Addition of the sissy bar cost about $200 and that included the powder coating. I can still fit the detachable pillion seat on the rack.
I did some research into the Motherwell racks and was told that the 530B suggested by Squid would not work on my Bob.
I was told that the 530-09B is what I need for my 2013 FXDB to fit because it's "shorter" to fit my "bobbed" fender.
I've tried and tried to find a significant difference between these two racks and can not.
The only thing I can tell is that they may have shortened the rack to fit between the seat and the fender-mounted taillight on the Bobs that have them. Since the 2013 does not have one, this should not be a problem.
I'm working this because the rack they say will fit my bike is not in stock and the other is.
Does anyone have experience with either of these and can confirm that the 530B will work on my 2013 Bob?
